How to Style Your Fall Wardrobe, Hyacinth's Style

Fall is my favorite season to shop for, honestly — there's so much room to layer, and layering is where modest style really gets to shine. Here's how I'd build a few outfits out of what's in the Autumn Edit right now.

1. Denim skirt + oversized sweatshirt. This is the easiest fall outfit there is. Pull one of our denim skirts, add a cozy sweatshirt or hoodie, and you're done — comfortable enough for a full day of errands, put-together enough for lunch afterward.

2. Blouse + skirt, dressed up with a cardigan. For anything that calls for a little more polish — church, a meeting, a dinner out — pair one of our blouses with a skirt and a neutral cardigan. Add a hat if you want a little extra warmth and a lot of extra style.

3. A dress that carries you from September through November. A lot of our dresses work just as well with a light cardigan in early fall as they do with a chunky sweater layered on top once it's colder. One purchase, two seasons of wear — that's the kind of value I actually want for y'all.

4. Let one accessory be the "extra." A tote in a fall color, a scarf, a hat — pick one accessory to be the statement and keep the rest of the outfit simple. It reads intentional instead of busy.

5. Repeat, remix, repeat. You really don't need a huge wardrobe to have fall style — three or four solid pieces you can mix and match will get you through the whole season looking put-together.
